I have never seen one close to this bowl. It is from the "Art Deco" period by the embossed designs on the side. Green on the outside and cream on the inside. "HALL" stamped on bottom.
The touch of this bowl is Extraordinary, very heavy and very thick. I can't see any glazing on it. A few marks for utensils on the inside. All in All in Excellent shape for it's age. Wish I was in that good of shape. ha!
No cracks no chips! One of my favorite pieces.
3 1/2" tall by 6" across the rim.

Hall China Medallion in the green "Lettuce" color. Medallion was introduced in 1932 and was Hall's first kitchenware line. Medallion is always actively sought by collectors for its elegant form and subtle ridges and colors. The Hall China Company grew out of the aftermath of the failure of the East Liverpool Pottery Company in East Liverpool, Ohio when Robert Hall took full ownership of the manufacturing plant from his partners in the former company as his share in the bankruptcy dissolution of the company in 1903. East Liverpool Pottery Company itself had been the result of a 1901 merger of 5 other local East Liverpool potteries. With this asset, James Hall reincorporated as the Hall China Company and first began producing china bearing the Hall china trademarks.
